Movie Review: The Distraction
Hey There! Welcome to the February 1999 issue of the SCROOMtimes! The more alert of you out there will be wondering what happened to the January issue this year... well, a lot of things happened to it. One negative thing about doing a labor of love, like this magazine, is that it sometimes winds up taking a backseat to more pressing problems, like holidays, paying jobs, etc. So, on occasion, we drop one. If you ever want to help out, send us some of your writing to publish, or perhaps, buy a damned t-shirt!
But that's not important - because here we are again! Another fun-packed issue. Skippy, Fiona and the Geek Lord are all back in the saddle, primed and ready to go. We have a repeat visit from funny guy Wil Forbis, and a new contributor in Craig Hutchison. Even Dave Lind is back for more abuse (and boy, did he and Dean suffer at the Superbowl!)
A special event is coming up as well - the world premier of our friend Greg Tennant's new movie, "The Distraction" will be in San Jose on March 1st. For more details, check out the review of the movie, right here in this issue!
So, until next month, keep reading, keep thinking, and tell all your friends where they should be spending their net surfing efforts!
