Hey there, ho there! Welcome to the SCROOMtimes once again! March has just started, and we here a SCROOMtimes headquarters are enjoying a brief spurt of sunshine. It's actually been sunny for 3 whole days here in Northern Ca! We're ecstatic. We chained Dean to a lawnmower, so that the 2-foot high weeds could be cut down, and the rest of us drank some beer and watched the show. What a day!
And what an issue! This month, Skippy takes on the sheep that he knows the rest of us are. Fiona ponders more differences between the sexes, and the Geek Lord takes a night off from geek-dom, and discovers the wonders of partying hardy in Venice (I guess he's trying to forget about the break-ins of the Pentagon computer systems lately. Better hang onto that resume for a while, Pelican, let this all blow over first...
Dave Lind bids Harry Caray a fond farewell in "The View From the Cheap Seats", and Dean takes on the entity that is Major League Baseball, and its fans.
In our features section, we have another movie review from our fearless reviewer, Molly Degnan - she takes on Girl Power! Tell us who you think won. Two new contributors make their appearance this month. David Mandell has a little tongue-in-cheek commentary on the legal system in ":Victim Chic"... and he should know something about it, as he is a practising attorney (and we know that practise makes perfect!). Jonathan Lowe has a strange little piece about... well, you figure it out. Read "Oh Hell"
And that's about it for this issue, folks. Remember - be good, remember to have a designated driver at all times, and buy a damned t-shirt!
